Why We Built This
We have spent the last 10 years building and renovating pools in Kansas City. These days, the call we keep getting is not "build me a pool." It is "my pool is aging, now what?" That is exactly why Probuilt Renovations exists.
Probuilt Pool & Patio builds, Probuilt Outdoor handles the backyard, and Renovations fixes what you already have: three brands, one family, one phone number that picks up. Probuilt Renovations is a 2026 brand, but the team behind it has spent the last 10 years on Kansas City pools, so this is not a startup but an experienced crew that decided renovation work deserved its own dedicated home.
We have also learned something over 10 years of pool work: the finish goes on fast, the prep takes time, and prep is the one thing you cannot shortcut. That principle is at the center of everything we do.

Why ecoFINISH
Most pools came with plaster, a cement-based surface that slowly dissolves in pool water. That is why old plaster stains, goes rough underfoot, and grows algae. ecoFINISH is different. It is a flexible polymer coating sprayed over your pool shell and heat-fused into a single continuous surface. It is pH neutral, so no staining, no rough patches, no algae grabbing hold. According to the manufacturer, it lasts 15-plus years, and it comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
Why Probuilt
That is the whole thing. The coatings business has a problem: the finish goes on fast, and not every crew gives the prep the time it needs. When prep gets rushed, the surface can fail within a year and the homeowner ends up starting over. We take the opposite approach. Prep is what makes a renovation last, and we do it right every single time. And because we are a local team based right here in Riverside, MO, we are the ones who come back if something ever needs attention after the install, not a crew two hours away.
